Looking for the best things to do on Long Island this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your schedule.

Bundle up this weekend for FrostFest at The Whaling Museum and discover survival tricks of polar sea creatures, see walrus and narwhal tusks, create crafts, meet Elsa, and more. Families can also head inside to belt out a tune at a show-stopping sing-along during Landmark on Main's Broadway Family Favorites event.

On Monday, watch Punxsutawney Phil’s local counterpart prognosticate at Groundhog Day in Malverne, to see whether he predicts an early spring or six more weeks of winter.
