Looking for the best things to do in Miami and South Florida this weekend? Here are some great family-friendly events and activities to add to your schedule.

It’s a weekend for the arts in Miami and South Florida, where Mommy Poppins fans will find a number of theater and music events across the region suitable for kids of all ages.

Celebrate the Arts day in Weston offers local high school performing artists a chance to sing, act, and dance before a live audience on Sunday. Performances of Beauty and the Beast JR., The Little Foxes, and Miss Nelson is Missing are sure to delight, while the South Florida Folk and Acoustic Music Festival brings talented artists in a number of genres together for family-friendly concerts in Davie.

Don’t despair, STEM kids. There is plenty for you this weekend, too, as Dinosaur World Live visits Miami and the Frost Museum of Science hosts its annual Family Fun Festival.
