Family Fun Day offers free admission and kids activities all day on the second Saturday of the month at the museum, which teaches and tells the stories of Miami. Each month features a different theme.

On August 9, celebrate National Lighthouse Day with the museum. Miami’s oldest standing structure is the lighthouse at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Learn the story behind this iconic structure with a tour of the permanent exhibit Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida.
