Minecraft Builders Club is for girls and boys entering grades 2-5. In this fun, creative course, young campers use the ever popular Minecraft video game to build their own worlds, solve puzzles and create together. In the Minecraft Modding Club, for kids entering grades 6-9, this advanced course for older Minecraft players puts campers in the driver’s seat, as they will be using the ever popular Minecraft video game to work on a multitude of virtual building projects using advanced creative tools, as well as modify and hack into Minecraft itself to add custom features and edits. The first session starts June 27.

Targeted to grades 4-6, each club meeting includes 45 minutes of class time where a specific a Minecraft concept is introduced, then 45 minutes of free play, in which all club members work independently or as a group on crafting whatever they wish. Offered monthly on Mondays, year-round.

Experience the world of Minecraft with LEGO bricks in this fun enriching camp offered through Bricks4Kidz. Campers will start crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using LEGO bricks.

Learn Minecraft all things STE(a)M related at this learning center. Offers seasonal classes, camps, birthday parties and more. Each week students will work on creative Minecraft builds, and work with the team on mini-games and adventure maps. CulturePlay also focuses on socialization and team building skills as students must work together to complete challenges. Minecraft topics include: redstoning, command blocks, mini-games and adventure maps.
Also, be sure to check your local library; several libraries offer weekly or monthly classes that include iPad and/or computer offerings. Build with a buddy or on your own.
