The Nutcracker for Kids is a one-hour, condensed, and narrated version of the full story of The Nutcracker, in which all parts are danced by students at the Yorktown Stage. It allows audience members of all ages to experience the magic of the Nutcracker during the holiday season!

The first production was in 2008 in the Tom Thumb stage. It expanded to the Paramount Center for the Arts in Peekskill in 2010, and was fortunate to be able to move to the beautiful Putnam Valley HS Performing Arts Center in 2012 when Paramount closed. In 2014 it moved to Yorktown Stage, where all performances have taken place since.
