Awesome Con is DC’s premier pop culture convention! An action-packed, star-studded bonanza, Awesome Con attracts more than 60,000 fans to celebrate their favorite comics, movies, TV shows, books, toys, games, cosplay, and more. All ages will find something to love, from toddlers to teens… to adults who refuse to grow up. 

Events include: 

  • Awesome Con Jr—an all-ages destination for the next generation of fans

  • Science Fair—where science meets science fiction

  • Book Fair—for book dragons, aspiring authors, and lit lovers of all ages

  • Pride Alley—a celebration of queer creators and fans, curated by GeeksOUT

  • Destination Cosplay—where cosplay fanatics can meet, pose, and improve their craft

  • Anime Yokocho—a haven for lovers of anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture!
