Disney On Ice Presents Dream Big will be heading to the Nassau Coliseum for seven shows this weekend.

Kids can don their thinking caps and investigate the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in a weekend of hands-on activities and demonstrations by STEM professionals at the Long Island Children's Museum.

Learn all about the descendants of dinosaurs, and how understanding this connection helps us understand how dinosaurs may have lived at the Center for Science, Teaching & Learning.

Cinderella and Snow White are preparing for the annual Crystal Ball at the Bellmore Movies. Walk into The Mansion at Glen Cove and enjoy a full breakfast buffet with your favorite princesses. View a 4,000-square-foot model railroad layout and watch the engines roar at the TMB Model Train Club Open House all weekend.

Line up along the Peconic River and Riverhead's Main Street for the Holiday Parade and Bonfire. Chug on down to FREE train club open houses in Levittown and Farmingdale. Hear carolers sing throughout the house, visit with Santa, enjoy some refreshments and get into the holiday spirit at Coe Hall at Planting Fields Arboretum.

Chart a course and hit the open road this weekend to peep these Long Island homes with spectacular holiday lights. Inject some holiday culture into your family's lives this season with these Nutcracker and other holiday performances.

Experience the Chandlery of the 1800s as the Village of Port Jefferson magically transforms into the Dickensian era. Children can learn what it was like to live the privileged life during the 1930s in a Gold Coast mansion – and have fun doing it at the Vanderbilt Museum. 

View more than 60 trees decorated by different organizations as they light up Stony Brook Village. Best-selling artist Laurie Berkner will perform holiday hits at The Paramount. The unique Holiday Boat Parade showcases festively decorated vessels along Freeport's Nautical Mile.

Santa comes to Greenport; arriving at noon aboard a LIRR Greenport Scoot at the Railroad Museum of Long Island, as part of the village's month-long Holiday Festival.
