Looking for the best things to do in Boston this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities in the area to add to your list. 

This weekend in Boston has a playful mix of hands-on fun, winter sparkle, and moments that matter. Kids can get creative and tell their own stories at the Story Quilt Workshop in Somerville. The Frostival Ferris Wheel opens on Saturday, adding a little swoop and wow to the season. And on Monday, head to City Hall Square for the Black History Month Kickoff and Flag Raising, which offers a meaningful way for families to come together and celebrate history and culture. It’s the kind of weekend that balances fun, curiosity, and connection.
