Do you hear the buzz of honeybees at Norristown Farm Park? Meet the park’s resident beekeeper, Don George, to find out about the challenges facing modern beekeepers today and the reasons for the decline in the honey bee population. Learn how you can help the honey bee at home.

In addition, participants see an observation hive first-hand and the equipment used for bee keeping. A sign-up sheet is available for guests wanting to attend a beginner’s course on beekeeping. Guests can expect honey samples and honey for purchase. Pre-registration is required. Visitors should meet in the Salt Wing next to the park office.
