The Shofuso Japanese House welcomes guests to a special Tea Ceremony in honor of Mother’s Day. At this traditional Japanese tea ceremony, visitors learn about the history and principles of chanoyu (tea ceremony.)

In addition, guests can drink a bowl of green tea called matcha and eat seasonal sweets. Reservations are required as space is limited. There are two seatings: 1 PM and 2:30 PM. To secure a spot, call or email Shofuso Japanese House and Gardens.

Be prepared to sit on the floor for the duration of the program. Limited chairs are available. Members must sign in to receive a $5 discount during checkout.
