The oldest community tree lighting ceremony in the United States, Perkasie's Tree Lighting Ceremony features music, photo ops, and a visit from Santa.

The event schedule is as follows:
5:15 PM: Mayor Hollenbach recites “T’was the Night Before Christmas”
5:30 PM: Central Middle School A Capella group
5:45 PM: South Middle School Choir
6:15 PM: Mike Greer & Co
7 PM: Santa arrives
7:20 PM: Mike Greer & Co
7:30 PM: Photos with Santa
