Dinosaur Train: The Traveling Exhibit is based on the popular PBS KIDS TV series. This new exhibit will transport kids back to the time of dinosaurs and encourage basic scientific learning through fun, hands-on activities. Climb aboard the dinosaur train, hunt for fossils, and more at this interactive exhibit.

In this exhibit, visitors can:

  • Climb aboard the Dinosaur Train — turn dial controls, push buttons, and flip switches while pretending to be a Dinosaur Train engineer
  • Hunt for fossils with paleontology brushes in the dig pit
  • Practice math skills by comparing the length and height of different dinosaurs
  • Press fossils into clay to identify dinosaurs by their footprints
