Meet activist Sylvia Rivera, as portrayed by actor, artist, and educator Summer Minerva.
A veteran of the Stonewall uprising in 1969 and an advocate for anyone marginalized by the gay rights movement, Sylvia tirelessly raised her voice in defense of the rights of people of color and low-income queer and transgender people. Sylvia reflects on Stonewall, performs one of her speeches, and then takes questions about her life.** Activity dates/times are subject to change.
