The Prospect Park Audubon Center hosts this annual event, where all ages can participate in a tradition more than 100 years in the making. This nationwide bird census helps conservation researchers track the long-term health of bird populations. 

Plan for four to eight hours of birding, rain or shine, followed by a potluck dinner and a live compilation of the day’s sightings, which will be shared with participants after the count. The location will be announced soon.
