Lunar New Year in Prospect Park
Join the Prospect Park Alliance on Lunar New Year for family-friendly programs at Lefferts Historic House and the Prospect Park Audubon Center.
Nature Around Us, 12–3 pm: Enjoy different seasonal discovery stations and nature themed activities that introduce you to the plants, insects and animals that call the park home. The Lake and Lullwater are home to many plants and animals. Help test the water quality and investigate pond samples that are filled with living organisms.
Winter Wilderness Walk, 3-4 pm: Curious about animal tracks in the snow, how trees survive without leaves, or how bugs stay warm? Join an Alliance Naturalist for a tour of how plants and animals live in the winter months. This program leaves from the Audubon Center promptly at 3 pm.
