Hike in the park followed by a classic Oktoberfest celebration, complete with local beer, German food, live music, lawn games, and more.

All registered hike participants receive a VCPA fanny.

Trail Run: Intro to Trail Running • Starts at 3pm *Moderate pace run on the back hills of VCP. Participants must be 13 and up; those under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bike Tour*: Slow and Easy Bike Ride • Starts at 3pm * Bike Ride will be a family-friendly ride up and down the Putnam Greenway.

All Hikes:

• Are led by skilled guide
• Finish at approximately 4pm
• Begin and end at the Van Cortlandt House Museum
• Require onsite check-in. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time for your hike.

Oktoberfest from 4pm to 6pm:

• German food by Loreley Restaurant & Biergarten
• Local beer, such as Captain Lawrence Brewing and Alternative Medicine Brewing Company, served in VCPA souvenir mug by the Bronx Beer Hall
• Lloyd’s Carrot Cake Cupcakes
• Yard games on the Van Cortlandt House Museum lawn
• Live music with BB and the Polkahaus
• Raffle tickets will be sold at the event for the chance to win terrific prizes!
