The Little Opera Theater of New York presents this concert, featuring music by Carlisle Floyd, William Grant Still, and Virgil Thomson; with words by Langston Hughes, Verna Arvey, and Gertrude Stein. The scenes are drawn from the history of the Americas both historical and fictional, including Huey Long, Jean-Jacques Dessalines, and Susan B. Anthony.
