Outdoor Comedy Classes in Central Park
- see all dates
Enjoy all the fun learning comedy and playing improv games outdoors, in Central Park. Improv games provide much needed laughter, while teaching valuable life skills, creativity, presentation, self-confidence, and so much more.
Instructors Andrea Hernandez Mieres and/or Ryan Hudzik meet students at the Bethesda Fountain. If there is rain, class meets under the Terrace. Every session includes 90 minutes of improv comedy games, starting with a group warm-up. Most students are age 10-14, with some as young as 8 years old.
Editor's Note: We've tried it, and our take is Improv4Kids offers a supportive environment for kids to build confidence and have fun learning improv skills. Whether kids just want to try something new or are budding Seinfelds, this is a great place to start.
