The towns of Scotch Plains and Fanwood sponsor an afternoon of free programs in honor of Juneteenth. Events are located at or near Shady Rest, the nation's first Black-owned county club.

Activities include:

  • Mini golf at Scotch Hills Golf
  • Carnival and lawn games
  • Balloon artist
  • Food trucks
  • Music

All activities are free; refreshments are for sale.

The event is accessible to people with disabilities.
