Everyday we put countless items in trash and recycling bins. How often do we take things out and reuse them?

The California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks and Art Trek host Wire & Wood, a hands-on activity for the whole family.

Participants use bright colors to paint pieces of wood and embellish them with hand-sculpted wire words and designs utilizing recycled materials. This 3D art making session not only encourages creative expression but awareness of the natural environment and the importance of reusing and recycling everyday items.

All art making activities take place at CMATO.  Materials are provided and all ages are welcome!
