Mud Mania
Sun Jul 14, 2019
12:30pm to 4:30pm PT
Age: 4 and up
Price: General (13 and up): $7; Children (4 - 12): $5
Kids can squish some history between their toes at this delightfully muddy festival. Activities include adobe brick-making, plastering the horno, constructing a mini-adobe home, running mud relay races, throwing a clay pot, and examining critters that live in mud.
There are also “clean” activities, including fossil-making, Mud Mania trivia, paper crafts, and live bluegrass music throughout the afternoon.
Shoes are required, except in the mud pit, and guests are encouraged to wear old clothes and bring a towel plus a change of attire for the ride home.
“De-mudding” stations are available for limited clean up; showers will not be available.
** Activity dates/times are subject to change. Please click through to the activity website to verify.
