Kidspace Children's Museum
Kidspace and The Creative Kitchen team up for an interactive weekend to inspire healthful living and balanced food choices. Families can launch the new school year with ideas for lunches and family cooking recipes.
Guests also get to try some exercise moves and do the Balanced Plate Scavenger Hunt to win a goody bag. Contestants from MasterChef Junior, a Cake Walk, and more appear on the Main Stage. Festival activities are included with museum admission, with the exception of cooking classes, which require a separate ticket.
Registration is open for hands-on cooking classes in the James Beard Foundation Future Foodies Pavilion. Instructors include Laila Ali, Cricket Azima, Yvette Garfield, Justice Marley, and Catherine McCord.
