This spring Descanso opens the garden gates at night for NightGarden, a new monthly series featuring special evenings of science, music, libations, and surprises.

May's event blinds us with science, from what's in the backyard to what’s happening in outer space. 

Upcoming themes:

February 9: Campfire Stories   
February's NightGarden offers nighttime exploration by flashlight. Guests learn about nocturnal animals, view the constellations, get a warm drink and listen to stories by the light of the “campfire.”  

March 16: Plant Power 
Harnessing the power of plants for both mental and physical healing is centuries-old. The night's relaxing activities show the amazing potential of the living things that grow all around us.

April 6: LA Blooms!  
These colorful, fragrant beauties are an important part of our ecosystem. Guests can wear their finest florals to learn about flower power at Descanso.  

May 18: Science Quest 
The science of nature surrounds us from the ground below to the stars above. May's NightGarden like science class, but even more fun!
