Kids can explore the Santa Monica Mountains with a ranger and earn a junior ranger badge. On a short walk, participants learn how to hike safely, identify plants and animals, and use their senses to explore the world around us. Free junior ranger activity books are available.

The program is aimed for kids 5-11 but all ages are welcome to participate. Event meets at 2pm by the fountain at the Visitor Center.
