Kids can become resident botanists for one day at the Hammer, observing, charting, and writing imagined histories of a few bizarre, beautiful, and rare plants.

The workshop is led by poet, children’s picture book writer, and magazine editor Michael A. Reyes.

This program is free; reservations are encouraged. Drop-ins are welcome, if space allows. 

Parking is available under the museum for $6 cash flat rate on weekends.
