Admission to California Botanic Garden is free for the Waterwise Community Festival. This free, family-friendly event highlights California’s incredible biodiversity and demonstrates how we can all protect and enhance the waterways and landscapes around us.

Highlights include:

• Family-friendly storytime and craft stations
• Musical performances by Mizu, Salenta + Qur’an, Paige Emery, Amigone, and DJs Saapato and Noah the Naturalist.
• Fun and informative exhibitor booths
• A site-specific water art installation by Lachlan Turczan.
• Tours and mini-workshops on waterwise landscaping featuring CalBG experts.
• Talks and tours covering watershed health and history, plus native plant restoration efforts.
• Raffle prizes include nursery gift certificates, water conservation supplies, and CalBG merch

Food trucks are onsite with food and drink available for purchase; native plants for sale at the Grow Native Nursery.
