Netflix x CicLAvia - Melrose Ave: Stranger Things 5 One Last Ride
CicLAvia celebrates its 64th event with a slightly Stranger route. For one day only, in honor of Stranger Things' final season, Melrose Avenue will be reenvisioned as Hawkins itself, where the familiar collides with the mysteries of the Upside Down and fans come together for one last adventure. Enhancements include immersive photo ops, pedal-powered activations, live entertainment, merch, giveaways, and an exclusive content drop.
The three hubs for this event are at Fairfax, near Gower (called the Melrose hub), and Vermont.
Hubs have restrooms, free water refilling stations, free basic bike repair, bike parking, and first aid. In addition, free pedicab rides courtesy of AARP are available at each information booth.
Activities along the route include multiple Stranger Things-themed photo ops, merch booths, Quest challenges, sampling and giveaways, performances and appearances. Participants are invited to "Strangerfy Your Ride" with custom swag, (while supplies last).
About CicLAvia: Participants just show up anywhere along the route at any time to enjoy the open streets and to take the time to explore our city. CicLAvia invites people to walk, jog, bike, roller skate, skate, or simply spectate
CicLAvia is derived from a Spanish term for "bike path" and its goal is to turn LA into one big bike path, if just for a few hours. People are encouraged to leave their cars at home and bike, walk, skateboard, or push a stroller to discover our beautiful city at non-motorized speeds. CicLAvia offers a wide variety of activities for people of all interests and ages, including music, performances, food trucks galore, and more.
