Lunar New Year at Disneyland Resort
- see all dates
The Mouse celebrates Year of the Horse, as Disneyland Resort puts its trademark spin on Lunar New Year festivities. This limited-time, multicultural celebration at Disney California Adventure Park commemorates Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions with a touch of Disney magic.
Park entertainment includes the return of Mulan's New Year Procession. Mulan is joined by Disney pals and a spirited group of entertainers - including a Chinese dragon puppet, warriors, drummers and dancers - in this procession that can be enjoyed multiple times throughout the day. Also returning is Hurry Home, a dazzling short nighttime water show celebrating family and friendship, that acts as a pre-show before World of Color - One.
Adding to the festivities are special appearances by some popular Disney Characters -including Mickey and Minnie - dressed in colorful Korean attire. New this year: be on the lookout for Disney characters debuting all-new Vietnamese and Chinese outfits.

In 2026, Disney is offering up one of the best So Cal resident ticket deals I've seen in some time: a 3-day Park Hopper for just $249. Tickets are valid from January 1 through May 21, 2026, and your three visits don't have to be on consecutive days, (but may be limited by reservation availability).
