LASAN's Earth Day LA 2025
LA Sanitation and Environment celebrates Earth Day at the North Hollywood Water Conveyance Yard. LASAN staff offer info about sustainability programs, projects, and services.
Highlights of this free event include entertainment, plenty of vehicles for kids to explore, giveaways, and free food.
Guests can learn how to use recycled water at home, what items can go in the blue recycling bin, where to get free mulch, how to sign up for a free street tree.
LASAN staff serves lunch and snacks from 10am to 2pm. Upon arrival, guests should check in to receive a meal ticket for a burger (meat or veggie) and fries from The Habit. These treats are free for all, while supplies last.
This is a zero-waste event. Attendees are encouraged to bring refillable water bottles and utilize public transportation and ride sharing options.
RSVP strongly recommended.
