Snow is falling in Lakewood for the city's 11th annual tree lighting ceremony.

Festivities start at 4:30pm, with carnival games, food trucks, and Santa Claus meet-and-greets.

Guests can enjoy holiday musical entertainment, and snap pics at the holiday photo ops. Costumed characters help with several holiday photo scenes, including one with Santa and two large sleighs Bring your own camera for photos.

Hungry guests can find plenty of food trucks in the parking lot behind City Hall.

The official tree lighting program starts at 6:30pm. Festivities wrap up at 8pm.
