Día de los Muertos Celebration in Long Beach
- see all dates
Please note: the Long Beach Día de los Muertos Parade and the Arte y Ofrendas Festival are NOT being held in 2025.
Long Beach City hosts a free day of family fun in celebration of Día de los Muertos.
The activities start with a festive street parade, followed by an Arte y Ofrendas Festival.
The 2024 Día de los Muertos Parade features grand marshals, a variety of culturally rich performances and floats, and participation from various City departments and community partners. The parade starts at the intersection of Pine Avenue and East Third Street, then travels down Pine Avenue to East Shoreline Drive. The parade starts at 11am.
Mexican regional music star El Dasa is one of the Celebrity Grand Marshals
The Arte y Ofrendas Festival is held at Marina Green Park. Highlights include live performances, altars honoring loved ones, an artisan mercado, a beer & tequila garden, a food court, and a Children’s Area. Tickets for the festival are $12 for kids, $20 for adults.
Festival Hours:
November 2: 12noon to 10pm
November 3: 11am to 7pm
