Los Feliz Branch Library kicks off its Summer Reading Program by celebrating Pride! Teens and tweens can make kumihimo-style friendship bracelets to show off their favorite pride colors.

Unlike traditional friendship bracelets, kumihimo uses a circular or square loom to make braided patterns and prints. Participants learn how to make a bracelet using this technique and take home a kumihimo disk to make more.

Don't like bracelets? These designs can also be used as phone straps. All supplies are provided.

This program is for teens and tweens 11-18 only.
