Capistrano Lights
- see all dates
The swallows aren't the only thing that come back to Capistrano every year. Orange County's only Mission is lit for the holidays, inviting families to experience the Mission by day and at night with a nightly tree lighting and candlelit music program.
Capistrano Lights admission includes daytime admission to the Mission, starting at 10am, in addition to the evening holiday programming.
Starting at 3:30pm, guests can enjoy performances by Dickens-era carolers, the Community Christmas Trees display, kids' crafts, sweet treats, and a large-scale Nativity in the ruins of the Great Stone Church.
Santa Claus meets with friends for visits and selfies from 3:30pm until 6:30pm, through December 23.
The Christmas tree is lit nightly at 5:05pm.
Mission grounds close nightly at 7pm.
