Families can experience Japanese culture up close at the Torrance Sister City Association's Bunka Sai Festival.

This free event has authentic performances of traditional dance, music, tea ceremony, calligraphy, martial arts, taiko, story reading, and kimono dressing.

Guests can get crafty with free hands-on demos of origami and calligraphy, and lectures on bonsai and ikebana by local experts.

Japanese food is available for purchase. Admission and parking are free.
