The Autry celebrates its 37th anniversary with its Annual Autry Block Party.

This year's event honors local heroes and community members who came to the aid of those in need during the fires and continue to support the community to this day.

The festivities include a carnival on the lawn with family-friendly activities such as bounce houses, a mechanical bull, a Ferris Wheel, and a mini train.

Fun for families includes a Touch-a-Truck experience with a chance to meet and honor local emergency responder heroes; the Family Play Space offers educational activies for kids. Plus, PBS Characters are on hand for meet-and-greets.

Other highlights of the event include a car show featuring classic cars, hot rods, and luxury vehicles, a cultural music and dance stage, a horse photo op and grooming workshops with Urban Saddles, plein air painting by local artists, live music, market vendors, and community booths.  See website for the complete listing of the day's activities.
