Anaheim Tree Lighting Festival & Holiday Village
The annual tradition continues!
The holidays kick off in Downtown Anaheim with the 30th Annual Tree Lighting Festival & Holiday Village.
Families can take photos with Santa, enter the Candy Canine dog costume contest, shop local vendors, and watch as the tree is lit up to mark the start of the Christmas season.
There is entertainment for children from noon to 5pm, Santa Claus visits with children from 3pm to 5pm.
At 5:45pm Santa and Mrs. Claus lead the processional to the Christmas Tree at City Hall. The tree is lit at 6pm, followed by performances from Sean Oliu, Anaheim Ballet, and the combined choirs of the Anaheim Union High School District.
Note that the Holiday Village activities are on Center Street Promenade, the tree lighting is at City Hall.
