Note: In 2025, the Orange County Cemetery District presents "Dia de los Muertos To Go".
On Saturday morning, November 1 starting at 9am until supplies run out, families can stop by and pick up some fun free give-aways. Tables will be set up outside the Anaheim Cemetery office where visitors can receive Dia de los Muertos Craft kits for children, small bouquets of marigolds, and Pan de Muertos - all "To Go".
From the in-person event in 2024:
The Día de los Muertos festivities are back at Anaheim Cemetery.
The free event features ballet folklorico dancing and mariachi performances. While supplies last, guests can enjoy free Pan de Muertos, and may select small bouquets of Marigolds for gravesite or ofrenda decorations.
Activities for children include Dia de los Muertos crafts and free face painting.
Families are also welcome to build personal ofrendas on the gravesites of loved ones. Decorations may be left beginning on Thursday, October 17 and must be removed by Tuesday, November 12.
