Join a SOFO environmental educator for this walk along Cupsogue Beach's shores in search of seals who migrate to the South Shore searching for food during the winter months. 

Keep your eyes peeled for three common Pinniped species: harbor seals, grey seals, and harp seals. You can expect to see some of these seals sunning themselves on the distant sandbar at low tide. It may be cold and windy, so please bundle up.

This walk is for adults, teens, and children age 5 and older.

NOTE: Outdoor nature walks and programs will at all times follow stringent 6' distancing separation protocols required by the Department of Health for the safety of the participants and environmental educators. SoFo will provide masks and gloves for all attendees.
