Port Jefferson Village celebrates with two days of celebrations in honor of our nation's independence. Catch fireworks on Thursday night and a parade through town on Friday. 

The fireworks display takes flight over the harbor, viewable from East and West Beach beginning at dusk—around 9pm on Thursday, July 3. Rain date: July 6.

Grab yourself a lawn chair and get down to Main Street in Port Jefferson early on the 4th so you don't miss a moment of this Independence Day parade. Starting at 10am on Friday, July 4, fire trucks, dancers, classic cars, veterans, and even antique farm equipment, parade north along Main Street before heading left onto West Broadway and ending at Village Hall.
