Mattituck's Love Lane closes to traffic for three hours on first Friday evenings from spring through early autumn, allowing pedestrians to explore and sample the area.

The popular free monthly community event runs on the first Friday of each month from May to October (except for July 4, 2025). The series is hosted by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce and features local businesses — including several not from Love Lane.
