33rd Annual Santa Monica Juneteenth Celebration
Virginia Avenue Park hosts a jubilant celebration of justice and liberty in commemoration of the announcement of the emancipation of enslaved African Americans who lived in the former Confederacy - two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.
This year’s theme is "A Family Affair: Unifying, Healing & Restoring".
Chazz Ross leads his traditional participatory drumming performance prior to the show.

2:35pm: Daunte Fyall with Daansekou
3:45pm: Nichelle Monroe with Butterfly
4:30pm: Spoken Word by Stacy McClendon
5pm: Pascal Bokar AfroBlueGrazz Band (presented in partnership with BroadStage)
6pm: Durti-Ryce featuring Deron
The festival also includes unique food and craft vendors, a kid’s activity area, and health and other local resources.
