Día de los Muertos at Hollywood Forever
The annual Día de los Muertos event at Los Angeles’s oldest memorial park is the nation's largest Day of the Dead event, celebrating the memories of loved ones with ceremonial tributes and extravagant altar creations amidst some of the city's most famous departed.
There are three sessions during the course of the day. Guests must exit the park when their ticketed session is over.
Event times:
- 1pm - 3:30pm
- 4:30pm - 9pm
- 9:30pm - 1:30am
All 3 event sessions include the performance of Aztec dance and rituals, altars on exhibition throughout the grounds, and culinary and arts & crafts vendors.
The 4:30 event includes a screening of Coco at 6:45pm and a drone show. The 9pm event includes a screening of Coco at 11pm.
Dia de los Muertos-inspired costumes and face painting are encouraged.
Children 5 and up require a ticket. No pets, food, or alcohol may be brought onto the grounds. The event is rain or shine.
