Get in the rodeo spirit with the annual Downtown Houston Rodeo Parade.
The trail riders all converge downtown in a show of Western pride and spirit. Decorative floats intermingle with thousands of men and women on horseback to fill the streets with hoof beats and marching bands.
Parade route: The parade begins at Bagby and Walker Streets, travels from Travis to Bell Streets, and then Bell to Lousiana Streets, and then turns on Lamar to end at Lamar and Bagby Streets. Downtown streets will be closed starting around 8:30 a.m. and will re-open around 2 p.m. The parking garages in the Theater District are available as well as other downtown public garages.
