Ring in 2026 by getting outdoors with this nationwide First Day Hike initiative!

Participants are invited to visit Sheldon Lake anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Stop by the Pond Center to check in with a park ranger, sign up, and hit the trails. After completing the hike, return to the ranger station to log your miles, snap a few photos, and pick up First Day Hike goodies to take home.
