Free concerts throughout DFW in the summertime, where parents can pack up both a picnic and restless tots and spend an evening under the stars, are beautiful music to our ears.

Free concerts in the summer are a gift to parents. A chance to listen to good tunes? Check. An opportunity to let your kid dance their wiggles out in the great wide open? Check! Realizing that there are outdoor concerts pretty much everywhere in North Texas when the warm weather hits? Check! 

These shows are mostly family-friendly, but it's always a good idea to check who's performing in advance to ensure your kids will want to stay for the whole set.
