Families can explore the science of creepy at this annual Halloween event.

Kids can make their own fake vials of blood, construct prosthetic wounds, design their own costumes, become zombies while learning about biological simulations, and create habitats for fake creatures.

Plus, live music curated by Honk NYC will add to the fun, and prizes will be handed out for those who come in costume. And Chuck, the museum’s catapult, will hoist pumpkins into the air for a satisfying splattering of gourds.
