Eastchester With Kids: 25 Things to Do for Westchester Families

Eastchester might be a small town, but when it comes to entertaining kids and families, this town has a lot to offer! Eastchester's roots date back to a group of ten families that migrated to the area back in 1664 from Fairfield, CT. Now home to over 33,000 residents (including the town's two villages, Tuckahoe and Bronxville), this year marks Eastchester's 350th anniversary!

Eastchester and its villages offer award winning school districts, beautiful homes and apartment complexes and a town-owned country club, Lake Isle, a true gem and huge draw for many residents (including myself). Between its close proximity to NYC, stellar school districts, lovely tree lined streets, plus shops and restaurants galore, Eastchester has become a destination town in Westchester. In April, we will be highlighting the town of Eastchester, including its two villages, Bronxville and Tuckahoe.
