This talk by Katherine Dugas of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station will highlight insects in their varied roles as lauded pollinators, misunderstood benefactors, troublesome garden pests, environmental threats (including a focus on the new invasive insect in town, the spotted lanternfly) and what to do about them!
The free 60-minute presentation at the Bruce Museum Seaside Center begins at 2 PM, Sunday, September, at 11 Tods Driftway, Old Greenwich, CT.
Following the film, paleontologist and new Bruce Seaside Center Manager and Curatorial Associate Kate Dzikiewicz will lead a discussion following the film. Related family activities are available all afternoon.
