Enjoy a full week of kid-friendly water adventures—from fishing derbies and “touch-a-boat” days to skill-building boating classes. It’s the perfect way to introduce kids to the water safely while making summer memories on the shoreline and beyond.

Events include:

  • Kids in Boating Class at MarineMax Boston and Danvers — learn docking, knot-tying, and water safety basics

  • Touch-a-Boat Day at Nantucket Boat Basin — kids explore different boats, from Coast Guard vessels to ferries 

  • Foxboro Kids Fishing Derby at Neponset Reservoir — friendly catch‑and‑release tournament with prizes 

  • Kids in Boating Day at Charlestown Marina — includes touch-a-boat stations and snacks 

  • Youth Fishing Derby (ConfiKids) at Buzzards Bay — fishing fun for ages 3–14 with awards and community spirit
