MAUM Market at PCM
MAUM Market, the pop-up market celebrating Asian-owned brands, is making its Atlanta debut with a one-day-only event at Ponce City Market on Saturday, June 7 from 11am-4pm. Visiting guests can expect to shop thoughtfully curated goods from handcrafted ceramics and minimalist jewelry to Vietnamese sauces, Korean-inspired home decor, and more – all created by independent small businesses.
Founded in Los Angeles and with other tour stops this year including Boston, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, and LA, MAUM – which means “heart” or “mind” in Korean – is a cultural experience that brings together over 30 Asian-American makers across food, fashion, home, and lifestyle. Attendees can meet the makers, enjoy on-site personalization of certain items, and taste their way through the event with foods like mochi donuts, small-batch kimchi, dumplings, ube cookies, and more. The Atlanta event marks MAUM’s expansion into new cities like Atlanta and aims to create a joyful space that blends commerce and community through an Asian-American lens, one market at a time.
